Picking up where I left off...

Well let's see where do I begin??? I haven't posted since July!

Nothing really too exciting happened this month besides my birthday :) I must say that I did have a GREAT birthday though! We went to the beach, Dave and Busters, and Disneyland! As you all know, I am a Disney Freak so I had a blast! Manuel took so many pictures and Aubree was an angel :) Although, she usually is... Well mostly hehe :)

In the beginning of October my entire family drove out to Arizona to attend my Great-Grandpa Bill's funeral, and of course to be there to support my Grandma & Great-Grandma Lou. Even though it was a sad time it was nice to be able to spend that time with my entire family. The drive there wasn't too long but the drive home was the LONGEST. We even had an incident where the keys got locked into the car and my Uncle Jeff had to break it with the rod from a sign. haha. Good times all around though. October brought a lot of different things :) My sister found out that she is having a little boy and she is thinking about naming him Levi. Oh and she asked me to be the Godmother! I am super excited! This is going to be my first godchild. Manuel and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on the 13th....

This year for halloween my Mom made Aubree's costume. She was Marie from the Aristocats. It was the cutest thing to see her walking around and "meowing" at everyone... I dressed up as a black cat and Manuel went as a Jabawakee.

Here we are in November and my preggo sister just celebrated her 21st birthday on Wednesday. This year my family is actually going to be in town for Thanksgiving so we will be celebrating it here at my grandparents and will probably end up splitting it with Manuel's sister... Long story and I don't even want to get into that.

Shortly after that will be a month full of birthdays, Christmas, Aubree's 3rd birthday (OMG) and my sister's baby shower..... Lot's of things to look forward to.

Lately I have been busy with making my bows & tutus.... and trying to get healthy..... One step at a time :)

Yeah I know, I'm lagging it...

As my bestie Shannon keeps reminding me, I desperately need to update this blog! It's been forever... Last blog I promised to put up Easter pictures and haven't had a chance....

Let me update you on a few things that have been happening... I FINALLY & I severely stress the word "finally" I got my promotion at work. It took A LOT of work & even more time but she finally gave in and I am now the new Office Manager! "woot woot!" Thank you for everyone and your constant support... There are a few of you out there (you know who you are) that get my spirits up when I was ready to throw in the towel... With that being said I now have a lot more responsibilities and my desk is now right outside the "founder & CFO"'s office... So going online makes it much harder to do at work... Even when one of them in grandpa :) Hehe. Plus my work computer for the time being is really slow & it takes forever to do anything online. Luckily I will be getting a new one next week!

Not that any of you care about my work life. haha.

Since the promotion we have pulled Aubree out of daycare & she stays home with Daddy right now. While the ports are picking up he is still getting out maybe two days a week & it tends to be on the nightside or on the weekends... So saving $500 a month really helps.

We are looking for a place to move right now... Of course I am being ridicously picky... I figure we are going to be in the new place atleast a year so I want to make sure that we are comfortable with it & happy...

&&&&&& we are thinking about trying to have another baby! I don't know quite where this is all coming from but it's always in the back of my mind... Manuel's work is supposed to be hiring full time before the end of the year so that would be amazing timing to start trying to have another little one. Aubree says she wants a brother. Haha. Hopefully! I am keeping my fingers & toes crossed!

Aubree is definitely two! She makes me nuts.... but in the end I love her to death and wouldn't trade her for the world! She is so smart! She can not recognize all her letters & knows all the sounds they make. She tells me how to drive ( I know right??? ) & sings me every word of "Part of Your World"... She is definitely her Mama's girl <3 I can't wait until I am able to put her into some dance & gymnastics classes! She would love it! She is always singing & dancing & I can't tell you how much of a girlie girl she is! She ALWAYS has to have lipgloss on! She always has atleast one baby doll on her & I forgot to tell you how much of a little fish she is! She is so tan! I swear, I can't drag her out of the water... She can swim a bit without her floaties but for the most part, we stick with the floaties....

Well I hear her moving around... Nap time is coming to an end. I'll try to post up some pictures on my next posting.

The Last Few months....

Honestly, the last few months have been a blur....

I don't have any idea where February went and March when even more quickly... We have all been good.... Minus a few colds here and there... We have been spending most of our weekend swimming in the pool or just being lazy watching movies...

Aubree and I have been spending a lot of time together at Disneyland... Big suprise there I know lol.

Tutu orders have been rolling in so that's nice :)

All in all everyone has been good...

Two

Well, it's official now, my baby girl is two.... TWO! It doesn't feel like two years already! Every moment I have with her is such a blessing. Unfortunately Manuel had to work, but my mom and I took Aubree to Disneyland :) We got there just after they opened and left after lunch (when the rain started). Aubree was able to get on the rides she cared about the most though- the carousel and dumbo... She saw Mickey and Minnie, and of course we had to make a stop at Pixie Hollow to see Tinkerbell and her friends. Aubree also suckered her Grammie into buying her a Tinkerbell doll lol Then we were suprised by my mom... She made us reservations to eat lunch at Ariel's Grotto.

We were kind of afraid that Aubree would be afraid of the princesses, but it ended up amazing! She loved every moment. They brought out a 3 tiered appetizer tray that had jello w/sliced strawberries inside, cheese, mixed veggies, salami slices, and salad. Shortly afte receiving the appetizer tray, they brought out a basket of fresh bread with three different types of dipping sauce. You had your choice of main courses, but my mom and I both opted for the Tri-Tip w/potatoes and veggies & Aubree had glazed chicken on sugar-crusted skewers with rice and fruit. And for dessert.... mmmm dessert... They brought out a tray that had chocolate brownies, cookies, chocolate cake with a fudge center and a white chocolate ariel figurine, mini cheesecakes and a white chocolate sea shell... My mouth is still watering over the dessert. Of course we had to get Aubree a birthday cake. They brought out a hot pink treasure chest that that had a cake in it decorated with candy mickey heads.

Throughout the meal, we had a meet and greet with the princesses. They each came to our table and visited with Aubree and took pictures. Her absolute favorite was Snow White. She kept asking the other princesses where Snow White went. lol

Half way through lunch the rain started so we left immediately after, but we had a perfect time! Thanks again Mom!

That night we had some of Manuel's family over for dinner, cake, icecream and presents :)

I would say that Aubree had a great second birthday.... :)

Goodbye 2009

I can't believe that 2009 is already over. I know that I went through the motions but wow, was I really even there?

My baby girl is going to be two.... TWO! I am still in shock! I tried to enjoy every part of this year as best as I could. 2009 had it's ups and downs and I'm hoping that 2010 is better! :) We already have so many things to look forward to this year, like birthdays, baby showers & weddings.... & I can't wait!
